Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Accounting Manager to lead our Finance Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing all accounting operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise a team of accountants and accounting staff
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies
- Develop and implement accounting processes and procedures
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to management
- Manage cash flow, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
- Coordinate with external auditors and ensure successful audits
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes
- Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock management
- Ensure accurate and timely payment of suppliers and employees
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Accounting or related field
- At least 10 years of experience in accounting management
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory requirements
- Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills
- Proficient in accounting software and systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Experience in retail industry is an advantage
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Accounting or related field
- Experience in a similar industry or company size
- Knowledge of financial planning and analysis
- Experience with financial reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI)
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems
- Knowledge of inventory management systems
