Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing, excellent content creation skills, and a deep understanding of both Chinese and international markets. This role requires a strategic thinker who can plan and execute marketing campaigns, manage customer relationships, and coordinate events to boost ULC’s visibility and engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to promote ULC’s programs and services.
- Operate CRM systems to manage customer data and enhance engagement.
- Run targeted marketing campaigns across various platforms including Douyin, Xiaohongshu, WeChat, Google Ads, Meta (Facebook & Instagram), etc.
- Plan and execute offline events to promote ULC’s offerings and engage with potential customers.
- Create and edit video content for promotional purposes.
- Produce high-quality written content in both Chinese and English for various marketing channels.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, making data-driven adjustments as necessary.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive marketing efforts.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of marketing experience.
- Proven experience with Chinese market platforms (Douyin, Xiaohongshu, WeChat) and international platforms (Google Ads, Meta).
- Proficiency in video shooting and editing.
- Strong content writing skills in both Chinese and English are required, as the role involves creating and managing content for events and materials that serve our primarily Chinese-speaking student base, as well as other international students.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese are essential to effectively engage with our diverse student community and stakeholders. While proficiency in Japanese, Korean, or Portuguese is not required, it would be beneficial for supporting events and materials for students from these regions.
- Ability to plan, organize, and execute marketing events.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret marketing data.
