Responsibilities:
- Equipment and Process Design: Study and review equipment and design treatment processes for wastewater treatment plants. Ensure water quality compliance for individual WWTPs (Wastewater Treatment Plants).
- Maintenance and Safety: Assist in maintaining plant integrity and safety, ensuring equipment operates efficiently with minimal downtime and that regular servicing is performed.
- Calibration and Inspection: Ensure all designated equipment calibrations and inspections are current.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the PSM (Process Safety Management) team and laboratory department on waste flow and treatment methods.
- WSH Promotion: Support the promotion of Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) activities among operators.
- Operation Optimization: Contribute to optimizing treatment operations, manpower allocation, and continuous improvement of WWTP operations.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry.
- Attributes: Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively to complete tasks.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in water treatment plants.
