Smart City Kitchen is seeking a collaborative team member to join our dynamic team! As a global leader in the cloud kitchen industry, our commercial facilities are dedicated to preparing food specifically for delivery and takeaways. These facilities, often known as Ghost Kitchens, Dark Kitchens, Shared Kitchens, or Virtual Kitchens, are leading the charge in this rapidly expanding industry.

About the Role:

The Site Supervisor will manage 2-3 facilities, overseeing a team of shift leaders and runners. Responsibilities include managing food orders, resolving facility issues, maintaining high standards of facility conditions, and leading ad hoc projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee 2-3 Facilities
  • Spend 50% of time on-site and 50% on managerial tasks
  • Manage daily maintenance tasks, including cleanliness, security, pest control, and kitchen audits
  • Team management
  • Conduct inventory counts
  • Coordinate communication between the Smart City Kitchen team and the kitchens
  • Handle onboarding and offboarding processes, including in-person handovers
  • Organize delivery partner pickups efficiently
  • Transport orders from kitchens to the central processing area
  • Process and stage orders for delivery partner pickup
  • Perform administrative tasks to ensure smooth facility operations
  • Respond to restaurant partner emails promptly
  • Contribute to the development of the future of food delivery with the team
  • Maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
  • Be flexible and adaptable to frequent changes
  • Oversee various projects as needed

Requirements:

  • Leadership experience in food service, hospitality, or retail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
  • Strong communication skills, both in person and electronically
  • Independent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to remain positive and composed in a dynamic environment
  • Flexibility to adapt to changes as the future of the industry is defined
