Purpose:
To lead and manage the Company’s operations whilst providing overall direction and strategic guidance and direction to the board, and to ensure and lead in the development of overall success of the business.
Main Duties:
- To develop and execute comprehensive business strategies to facilitate achievement of organizational success and to attain the goals of the board.
- To ensure the Company is constantly moving towards fulfilling its short-term and long-term objectives and does not diverge from its strategic guidelines, values and mission.
- Reporting to the board, providing market insights and strategic advice.
- To ensure that Company Policies and legal guidelines are communicated all the way from the top down in the Company and that they were adhered at all times.
- To develop and directs the implementation of policies, work standards and procedures that comply with regulatory and statutory guidelines, rules and standards.
- Oversees the execution of the Company’s day-to-day operations, including strategic financial decision-making and management
- To analyse operational and financial data.
- To access, manage and facilitates the resolution of problems and developments to support business segments and day-to-day operations
- To build, inspire, manage and mentor a high performing team and to cultivate a talent pipeline.
- To manage staff in accordance with the Company’s policies and applicable legislation. Responsibilities include planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance and guiding professional development; rewarding employees and addressing employee relations issues.
- To build and enhance the Company’s public profile while establishing and leading activities related to operational governance.

Qualifications:
- A Master degree
- Minimum of 15 years’ experience within the pharmaceutical or nutraceutical (bioceutical) industry; with demonstrated ability in leading, managing, and developing professionals.
- Possess excellent leadership, collaborative management practices, executive communication and interpersonal skills, along with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Possess a strategic mindset followed by a powerful drive for execution.
- Proficient in business and crisis negotiations and management.
- Excellent communicator and presenter.
- Strong command of written and oral English.
