Senior Project Manager

Job Description:

  • Serves as the primary point of contact for the customer after the sale as assigned. Builds and maintains relationshipwith customer and other suppliers associated with the Project.
  • Maintain comprehensive and effective communications with the client, and all groups (vendors/contractors etc.).
  • Track all risks and opportunities and mitigate/realise these respectively.
  • Participates in the quotation process and provides project management related information such as schedules and budgets.
  • Provides technical overview and participates in decisions that will have an effect on project safety, schedule or cost.
  • Establishes a realistic project schedule and monitors compliance with the defined project objectives and projectmanagement processes to ensure the timely completion of project milestones and final delivery.
  • Ensures that plans for controlling & reporting on costs, schedule and quality are effectively utilized.
  • Serves as the primary internal contact with management and coordinates communication between the functional areas and other TechnipFMC product areas involved in the project.
  • Ensures that the project status and progress is effectively communicated to the TechnipFMC Project Team, TechnipFMC management and to the customer.
  • Manages project budgets. Approves all project related expenditures as authorized and manages costs to meetbudget commitments. Ensures that adequate resources are applied to the project. Ensures that profit margins anddeliverables are met.
  • Defines team member responsibilities and tracks and monitors individual performance, quality of output and the impact of output on project delivery and profitability.
  • Develops and tracks personnel objectives and coordinatesthe career growth process.
  • Identifies additional business opportunities and works with the proposal team to communicate customerrequirements and to drive customer specifications toward standardized product solutions.
  • Manages and negotiates Variation Orders and other changes to the contract, through Management of Change procedures.
  • Ensures that a document control procedure is in place and is followed
  • Establishes and maintains a documented quality system as a means of ensuring that all elements of the Projectconform with contract requirements, specific certificate standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare Project Close Out Report & ensure Lessons Learned sessions are held and results reported to relevantdepartments.


Job Requirement:


  • BS Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Procurement, Operations or related field. Completion of PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification. MBA or equivalent business experience. Must demonstrate a thorough understanding of Project Management techniques and standards.
  • Good product knowledge of all product lines or work package groups.
  • Leadership / Organization / Administrative Skills, as well as excellent motivator & problem solver.
  • Demonstrates effective leadership ability within a matrixed team environment and contributes significantly to team performance.
  • Demonstrates exceptional negotiation, planning, interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrated effectiveness in project negotiations, multi-site interfaces and commercial management of contracts, supplier qualitysystems and development and implementation of project management strategies.
  • PC skills with proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, project and presentation software.
  • Ten to twelve years relevant experience in Engineering, Scheduling, Procurement, Planning, cost or Quality Assurance plus eight to ten years experiences in a Project Supervisor / Management function.
