Job Responsibilities:
Financial Management:
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports, budgets, and projections, including profit and loss (P&L) statements, volume forecasts, and headcount summaries based on submissions from various institutions.
- Analyze monthly P&L statements, monitor financial performance against budgets, and provide detailed commentaries to management for the assigned institutions.
- Prepare and submit quarterly entertainment reports to the Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO).
Fixed Assets/Projects Claims Management:
- Track and provide updates to Senior Management on capital expenditure (CAPEX) utilization for both funded and self-funded projects.
- Track and submit claims for Ministry of Health (MOH) funded development projects.
- Monitor the usage of various project funds by coordinating with relevant stakeholders.
Capital Project Post Implementation Review (PIR):
- Track and prepare updates on capital projects post-implementation reviews (PIR) for Senior Management.
- Identify projects requiring PIR monitoring and present updates at relevant committees, including the Digital Health Management Committee (DHMC), Board Digital Health Committee (DHC), Executive General Meeting (EGM), and Board Steering Committee (SC).
- Ensure institutions conduct PIRs promptly after projects are implemented and stabilized.
- Prepare necessary materials for presentations to the above-mentioned committees.
Subvention Disbursement:
- Engage with MOHH (Ministry of Health Holdings) and MOH regarding subvention-related queries, funding gaps, etc.
- Verify the completeness and accuracy of subvention receipts from MOHH/MOH.
- Calculate the allocation of subventions to various institutions and ensure timely disbursement.
- Confirm subvention amounts with stakeholders such as the Auditor-General’s Office (AGO), MOH, and external auditors.
- Periodically reconcile subvention amounts, including aging reports and general ledger movements for annual audit purposes.
- Track Letters of Award (LOAs) issued by MOH and monitor institutions' compliance with obligations as per the signed LOAs.
Administrative:
- Prepare and maintain the Corporate Calendar for the Finance department.
- Collect and collate various statistics and data for reporting purposes.
- Perform other ad hoc administrative duties as required.
Job Requirements:
Education, Training, and Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
