Key Responsibilities
Reports To: CEO, Allianz Trade in ASEAN
As the Commercial Director of ASEAN, you will have opportunities to contribute to the success of Allianz Trade by achieving profitable and sustainable business growth in the frame of Allianz Group strategy.
· Identity new growth initiatives and business opportunities for Allianz Trade in ASEAN
· Prioritize growth initiatives
· Develop a yearly marketing plan in alignment with the business unit’s strategy
· Specify operation goals (e.g. pricing, channel mix, etc)
· Implement the approved marketing plan
· Maintain a profitable customer portfolio on a long term basis
· Lead and motivate the sales teams to hit challenging sales targets
· Personally engage in managing top accounts
· Negotiate with prospects and policyholders within authority limits and in compliance with internal guidelines
· Represent the company to all external stakeholders, especially brokers, fronters and relevant associations and regulatory authorities
Job Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline, preferably with an MBA
· 10+ years’ leadership experience in insurance, banking and / or financial services industries a must
· In dept understanding in Trade Credit Insurance and estabilished strong parnership/network in the industry
· Proven records of outstanding sales achievements
· Capable of translating market knowledge into new initiatives in a creative way
· An experienced, highly energized team leader capable of providing professional guidance and supervision to the team members
· Strong analytical, communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
· Excellent command of spoken and written Englishx
· Conversant with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
· Experience in working for MNCs / a multicultural environment a definite advantage
