Job Title: Training Officer, Sheltered Workshop Programme
The Training Officer will be responsible for the daily training provided to Bizlink Centre clients attending the sheltered workshop programme in the logistic and fulfilment division.
Responsibilities
- To train persons with disabilities in pre-vocational, vocational and community living skills
- Assist with activities to develop social skills and physical maintenance.
- To supervise and provide quality check of clients’ packing work.
- Work with a multi-disciplinary team to develop, implement and monitor client’s individual training plan.
- To be responsible for the safety and wellbeing of the clients
- To be responsible for clients’ case management
- To provide periodic updates to caregiver on client progress
- To work with Department Head in co-ordinating events that client attends on a periodic basis.
Requirements
- Diploma in Special Education, Community Services and Disability Studies
- Applicant with NITEC Certificate in Community Care & Social Services and Certificate of Special Needs Education with experience can apply
- Possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Possesses good organizational and time management skills
- Be able to work independently and with a multi-disciplinary team.
- Experience in training and working with people with special needs will be an advantage.
- Have great passion in wanting to make a difference with people with special needs and train them to acquire vocational skills.
Salary Range
· $2,610 - $3,000
· Working Location: Chai Chee Lane
