Job Purpose
Successful applicants will work closely with the Lighthouse Canton group Legal & Business Solutions team.
This will be a great opportunity for anyone who is always up for a challenge and would like to explore and get exposure to legal/contractual work across different jurisdictions, fund (such as a VCC) related contracts/documents, and different kinds of work involved in pitching for and establishing a multi-family office in Singapore, or otherwise advising UHNI prospect and client at Lighthouse Canton. The chosen candidate will have exposure to workings of a MAS regulated financial services entity that indulges in both asset and wealth management aspects across Singapore, Dubai and India.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Draft and review legal documents such as varied contracts both within the group and with third parties. Assist with legal research, or writing publications depending on what may be required. Credit will be given where due.
- Prepare any meeting notes/minutes, emails, and precis on client/prospect matters and business solutions/wealth management decks.
- Perform ad-hoc administrative duties related to the legal and business solutions functions only.
Prior Experience
- Any prior experience in legal, financial services, wealth management or funds related work is beneficial but not a precondition.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate (Year 2 and above only) or postgraduate law students with keenness to learn, eye for detail, and an interest in the kind of work involved in this internship as mentioned in the duties and responsibilities section above.
Start Date and Duration
- Immediate.
- Minimum 2 months.
