Job Description:
X Star Technology, a leading fin-tech company, is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant (GL) / Assistant Manager (GL) to join our team in Singapore. This role encompasses a broad range of responsibilities related to financial management, reporting, and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle full sets including a good grasp understanding of knowledge not limited to AR, AP, and GL functions for multiple entities.
- Perform monthly financial analysis and prepare reports for month end closing.
- Engage and assist in the annual budgeting process for forecasting for the region.
- Assist with financial year-end statutory accounting and audit requirements.
- Evaluate financial performance against budgets and targets, providing inputs for variance analysis.
- Implementation of internal controls such as recommending improvements to policies and workflows.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related equivalent such as ACCA.
- 4-5 years of relevant experience handling full sets. Those with lesser experience are welcome to apply if they can demonstrate strong understanding of accounting knowledge.
- Experience in audit background is an added advantage.
- Knowledge in IFRS accounting standards.
- Proficient command in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and eye for details.
- Proficiency in English, conversational in Chinese/Mandarin is plus.
