Job Summary:We are looking for a skilled Construction Site Supervisor to oversee daily operations on our construction site. The supervisor will be responsible for managing the workforce, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, extensive construction experience, and the ability to solve problems efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily site operations and manage on-site staff and subcontractors.
- Ensure all work is performed according to project specifications, safety standards, and legal requirements.
- Coordinate and schedule construction activities to meet project deadlines.
- Conduct regular inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
- Manage material and equipment procurement and inventory.
- Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on-site.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and conduct safety meetings.
- Maintain accurate records of site activities, including work completed and incidents.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare and submit progress reports and documentation as required.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Construction Site Supervisor or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and equipment.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- In-depth understanding of safety regulations and compliance.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle physical demands and work in various weather conditions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in construction management or safety.
- Experience with project management software.
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
