Job Description:
1. Personal Driver Duties:
- Safely transport the employer and/or family members to and from various locations, including meetings, appointments, and events.
- Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of the vehicle, including regular servicing, fuel refills, and ensuring the vehicle is always in good working condition.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly check and maintain the vehicle’s essential components (e.g., oil, brakes, tires) to ensure optimal performance.
- Insurance and Documentation: Ensure the vehicle’s road tax, insurance, and necessary permits are up to date and compliant with regulations.
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely arrivals, considering traffic conditions.
2. Office Administration Duties:
- Cleaning Duties:
1. Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the office, including workstations, meeting rooms, and common areas.
2. Ensure all office facilities are well-maintained and any repairs or issues are promptly reported.
- Pantry Management:
1. Monitor and replenish food and drink supplies in the pantry to ensure that they are always available for staff and visitors.
2. Ensure the pantry area is clean, organized, and fully stocked with necessary items (e.g., coffee, tea, snacks).
- General Office Support:
1. Assist with filing, data entry, and maintaining office records.
2. Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
3. Manage office supplies inventory and reorder as necessary.
4. Support with administrative tasks, including photocopying, scanning, and preparing documents.
5. Assist with scheduling and coordinating meetings, including setting up meeting rooms and arranging refreshments if required.
- Ad-Hoc Duties:
1. Perform other duties as assigned by the employer, which may include running errands, purchasing items for the office, or assisting with personal tasks.
Job Requirements:
- Driving Experience:
1. Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
2. Proven experience as a personal driver or in a similar role.
3. Vehicle Maintenance Knowledge: Must have a good understanding of vehicle maintenance and the ability to perform basic checks and upkeep.
4. Insurance Knowledge: Familiarity with car insurance requirements and processes.
5. Familiarity with GPS devices, traffic laws, and local routes.
- Administrative Skills:
1. Previous experience in an office administrative role is preferred.
2. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
3. Proficient in basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Physical Ability:
1. Ability to perform cleaning duties and lift/move items as required.
