We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The individual will have strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. This role is crucial in maintaining the efficiency of our supply chain and providing excellent service to our clients.
Your Main Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Familiar with local transportation in conventional trucking and LCL.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to schedule deliveries.
- Track and manage on-going jobs, ensuring they are effectively and efficiently completed.
- Handle job closure processes to ensure billing is completed promptly within the designated timeframe.
- Address and respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Assist in resolving any logistical challenges or delays.
- Maintain accurate records of all logistics activities and transactions.
- Manage permit declarations for LCL shipments.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
Your Professional Background:
- Proven experience in logistics, supply chain management or a related field is a plus. We are open to considering candidates without any relevant experience.
- Relevant knowledge of Singapore roads, yard and port operations.
- Proficiency in import/export permit declarations.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong sense of commitment and urgency to meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A good team player with a proactive and problem-solving attitude.
