Responsibilities:
- Oversee, maintain, configure, and support IT infrastructure for both shore-based and sea-based assets, ensuring user needs are met.
- Address user-reported hardware issues and coordinate solutions with designated vendors.
- Handle incidents and implement solutions, ensuring timely resolution and delivery to end users in collaboration with appointed vendors.
- Administer software installations and updates on company-owned devices.
- Resolve connectivity issues for both shore and sea-based assets, working with designated vendors.
- Facilitate new software installations and updates based on user requests.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on servers and company-owned devices.
- Assist users in providing access to guests and vendors.
- Perform routine checks and tests on hardware and software, resolving issues with vendors as necessary.
- Manage the procurement, repair, disposal, and sale of company IT assets in coordination with vendors.
- Administer company IT policies, documentation, and user guides.
- Stay updated on the latest IT solutions, offering recommendations for improvements and upgrades.
- Oversee hardware and software recovery responses with vendors.
- Collaborate closely with the Systems Manager to support users.
Cyber Security:
- Implement and manage all security software for the network and endpoints in conjunction with vendors.
- Develop, implement, and oversee cybersecurity policies for all company information systems with vendor support.
- Create and manage monitoring policies, ensuring prompt attention to all security notifications.
- Work with users to enforce policies that maintain operational integrity and data security.
- Conduct regular checks and tests to identify and patch vulnerabilities and security loopholes.
- Respond to security breaches and incidents, conducting routine checks and ensuring timely action.
- Develop and manage a cybersecurity incident response framework with vendors, guiding responses during security breaches.
- Provide regular reports on security notifications and breaches.
- Offer ongoing updates and reminders about cybersecurity awareness and training to users.
- Manage the reporting and recovery processes for security breaches within the framework timeframe, collaborating with vendors.
- Coordinate with users and departments to ensure successful completion of required cybersecurity audits.
Data Management:
- Collaborate with the Data team to support and enforce data policies across all shore and sea-based systems.
- Assist the Data team in implementing Data Governance and Management policies.
- Support the Data team in enforcing Data Loss Prevention policies across systems.
- Work with the Data team and vendors to ensure data protection, security, and regular backups across all systems.
People Management:
- Oversee IT team members’ work, schedules, and training.
- Assist the CTO in evaluating IT team members' performance.
- Guide and support IT team members in their daily tasks.
- Collaborate with other departments to support their operational needs.
Requirements:
- Proficient in managing Microsoft 365 Business Suite, including Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Mail Exchange Servers, Security Policies, Defender, Intune, and SharePoint.
- Experienced in deploying and managing desktops, laptops, and other work devices for both office and offshore locations.
- Skilled in managing vendors to provide user support according to agreed SLAs.
- Experienced in procuring, maintaining, and providing support for equipment, including the sale of used items.
- Solid understanding of networking, network equipment, and cloud infrastructure.
- Knowledgeable in managing both Windows and Mac-based devices.
- Experienced with Mobile Device Management (MDM) setups for domain-joined devices.
- Proficient in setting up and managing security solutions in collaboration with vendors.
