The QAQC Lead will be responsible for the below:
- Lead and Manage a team of QAQC Engineers/Assistants
- Responsible for performing quality assessments on standard and routine processes and products according to engineering drawings, specifications, methods and instructions.
- Review and update internal QMS.
- Implement the QA/QC management system at site
- Coordinate with the client’s representative on all quality matters.
- Participate in the quality internal and external audits.
- Review and update ITP as per project specification.
- Assign QA/QC inspector to dedicated project and monitor the inspector performance.
- Coordinate with the site construction manager on all quality issues.
- Root cause analysis on quality related issue and propose the preventive measure action.
- Report any non-conformance (NC) and issue corrective action request (CAR) where necessary.
- Liaise with NDT Company to support project team.
- Audit and manage sub-contractor quality matter.
- Ensure all quality control documentation is compiled handover for final project documentation.
To be successful, you will need the below:
- Min. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Possess Certified Welding Inspector (CWI).
- Min. 3 - 5 years of relevant working experience, preferably in QA/QC of mechanical systems for Semi-con, Pharma & Oil & Gas.
- Deep knowledge of Standards such as ASME / API / AWS / NACE & DSEN.
- Able to work independently and as a team with good prioritization skills.
- Good time management.
