JOB SUMMARY:
The Associate Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the whole project, including serving as the escalation point of contact during project life cycle. Responsible for the project timelines, scope and budget.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Project Planning and Monitoring: Develops and manages the project timeline and budget, ensuring adherence to the initial scope and securing customer acceptance. Manages the project's critical path and scope.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Works closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the project is conducted within the committed budget and timeline, facilitating effective communication and decision-making.
- Documentation Management: Creates, secures sign-off, and ensures proper storage of essential project documentation, including Business Process Requirements and Configuration Documents.
- Change Management: Approves and proposes project change orders when necessary, as well as the implementation plan and blueprint.
- Support and Training: Supports key activities throughout the project lifecycle, such as training, business reviews, configuration, and data migration, both onsite and offsite.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Proven track record in project management in a similar industry
- Knowledge in the use of project management tools
- Communicates and expresses thoughts clearly, is organized and systematic; exudes confidence in projecting ideas and has presence of mind (both verbal and written).
- Demonstrates the ability to manage stakeholders, and engage and build a good relationship with individuals providing the most impact on their work.
- Upholds integrity in all dealings and projects.
- Accountable, yet works in collaboration and teamwork with others
- Manages time well, able to balance multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities
- Solve problems quickly and work independently
- Ability to do independent work; commitment to excellence
- Has great attention to detail
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
- Must have a degree in any business-related courses or any computer-related course
- Certification in project management preferred
PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE
- Must have at least two (2) years of relevant working experience in project management
- Preference to have at least two (2) years of experience in implementation of IT products, services or solutions
- Must at least have 1 cycle ERP Implementation
