Suds & Scissors Pet Parlour is looking for experienced Pet Groomers to join the team. We are looking for dedicated and passionate individuals who love animals as much as we do.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Grooming and styling pets according to breed specific cut/standard grooming styles, as well as customers’ requirements.
- Bathe, dry and fluff dogs and provide basic hygiene grooming.
- Ensure safety and wellbeing of pets throughout grooming session.
- Identifying health/skin issues and informing customers of these observations.
- Ensure pet grooming tools and equipment are well maintained.
- Ensure workplace safety, hygiene level and cleanliness of the grooming centre.
Job Highlights
- Closed on Sundays and Public Holidays
- 5-6 day work week
- Location : West Side Bukit Timah / Upper Bukit Timah
Skills and Qualifications
- Professional certification with minimum SKC C Class or equivalent, and minimum 2 year working experience required.
- Extensive knowledge in grooming and styling different breeds.
- Comfortable working with animals, including anxious, difficult and temperamental ones.
- Willingness to learn new skills and techniques on the job.
- Good communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Team player.
- Experience working in a customer service-oriented role is ideal.
- Able to start work immediately.
