Our client, a leading bank, is seeking a Loan Syndication Specialist to Our client, a prestigious and globally recognized bank, is seeking a Loan Syndication Specialist to join their Corporate Banking Department.
Job Description:
• Originate syndicated loan transactions, including assessing feasibility, formulating term sheets, and managing syndication timelines and documentation.
• Distribute syndicated loans to the market by accurately assessing distribution channels and selling down to targeted investors.
• Formulate optimum pricing for transactions with sound methodologies accepted by the market.
• Provide regular updates on potential syndication transactions and identify possible bank/partner collaborations.
• Maintain close relationships with media outlets to stay informed on market deals and gather intelligence on existing or potential borrowers.
• Collaborate closely with relationship managers for deal origination.
• Assist the Head and Deputy Heads of Corporate Banking in scouting viable business opportunities to enhance the bank’s returns.
• Perform any duties required to fulfill the role, adhering to business needs, internal policies, and procedures.
• Execute any additional tasks assigned by the supervisor or management.
Job Requirements:
• Education: Recognized bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Business, Accounting, Banking and Finance, Economics, or related fields.
• Experience: At least 7-10 years of relevant experience in commercial banking.
• Language Proficiency:
• English
• Mandarin (to liaise with Chinese-speaking clients)
• Skills:
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills for managing stakeholders across departments.
• Proactive, energetic, results-oriented, with strong business acumen.
