KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITES
· Administer routine physical and occupational therapy treatment under the supervision of the Physiotherapist and Occupational Therapist;
· Assist residents for ambulation training through the use of walkers, braces or parallel bars;
· Assist residents to perform exercises through the use of Physiotherapy exercise equipment;
· Supervise residents in practicing activities of daily living and leisure participation;
· Plan and facilitate group exercise and activity sessions under the guidance of the Physiotherapist and Occupational therapist;
· Observe residents’ reaction during treatment, ensure safety and report them promptly to Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist;
· Perform administrative duties including documentation of residents’ exercises and activity sessions accordingly and attendance taking;
· Clean and sterilize equipment used and rehabilitation areas;
· Any other administrative duties that may be assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
· NITEC in Community care or WSQ Certificate in Therapy Service;
· Degree or Diploma in Physiotherapy/Occupational Therapy (for foreigners);
