This is a short term research assistant role to assist a research project on the topic of carbon capture, the role requires theoretical and hands-on experiences in the synthesis of porous carbon, specifically in techniques such as material formulation, freeze casting, and characterization techniques such as scanning electron microscopy, BET, FTIR and XRD.
The individual will also have proven technical writing experiences, having first-authored published manuscript in peer reviewed journals. In the short contract, the individual will aim to 1) complete a manuscript 2) participate in proposal writing 3) collaborate with a postdoctoral fellow on a carbon capture material research project
