Astek has an opening of a Full Stack Developer to be based in Singapore for one of our project. (6 months, contract renewable)
- Ideally someone with experience in developing web applications and proficiency in working with Excel and SQL databases. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing a web app prototype that leverages Excel for data input and manipulation, and SQL for database management.
- Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code
- Work with business analysts to review business requirements, and Cloud Architects to ensure technical feasibility of concepts
- Develop and enhance the performance of the main frontend / backends of the prototype.
- Maintain frontend / backend infrastructure, monitor for exceptions in the code, and debug any faults that occur in production
Requirement:
- Experience with multi cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure etc.
- Experience with Python libraries (e.g., Pandas).
- Experience manipulating Excel files.
- Work experience as a Python Developer.
- Expertise in popular Python framework (like Django, Flask or Pyramid),
- Able to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system (SQL and NoSQL)
- Experience in web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Full-stack web development experience.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript frameworks, Jamstack frameworks, such as React, Angular or Vue.
- Experience working with databases (SQL and NoSQL).
- Dataiku and Snowflake in advantageous
- Knowledge of user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
- Strong understanding of JavaScript fundamentals with strong understanding of the DOM and browser APIs.
- Experience working with jQuery, Next.js, Nuxt.js or Gatsby.js.
- Knowledge of latest CSS conventions, and experience with preprocessors, such as Sass or Less.
