Job Responsibilities
- Evaluate the programme of works
- Coordinate with Architect, Civil & Structural Engineers, Mechanical & Electrical Engineers and other consultants in supervision of the project to ensure compliance of drawings/specifications, approved work methods and authorities requirements
- Establish the risk management, time management, cost planning and management system for the construction activities
- Manage the Contractor on the construction of the project, including but not limited to monitoring submissions by Contractor and clearances from the consultants and relevant authorities
- Identify / solve site problems. To liaise and coordinate with all Contractors, consultants and HDB (including the chairing of regular meetings) to ensure timely resolution of all site problems
- Verify Contractor’s progress payment
- Supervise architectural works to achieve good workmanship
- Monitor acceptance and commissioning tests/inspections
- Respond to all emergency matters, such as fire and accidents, at the site during or off working hours
Requirements
- Possess an Architectural, Civil / Structural / Electrical / Mechanical /Environmental Engineering, Building Science, Project Management, Construction Management or other construction and engineering related degree
- The degree shall be recognised either by the respective Professional Bodies in Singapore or BCA (BOA, PEB, BCA)
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in construction industry
- Familiar with the Microsoft Project Management software
- Self-motivated and able to work under pressure
- Good written and communication skills
