We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Sales Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing our customer base, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, and supporting the sales team to drive growth. The role involves close collaboration with our suppliers in Japan and assisting in managing the end-to-end sales process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve company sales targets and objectives.
- Support the building and maintenance of strong, long-lasting customer relationships through effective communication and understanding of customer needs.
- Assist in managing key accounts and identifying new business opportunities to expand the company's market presence.
- Coordinate with suppliers in Japan for product ordering, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to provide insights for adapting sales strategies.
- Assist in preparing and delivering sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute promotional activities.
- Provide regular sales reports and updates to the Sales Manager and senior management.
Requirements:
- Language Proficiency: Must be fluent in both English and Japanese, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales, preferably within the food and beverage industry.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of Japanese food products and the F&B market in Singapore.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent ability to build interactive and long-term relationships with customers.
- Negotiation Skills: Ability to support negotiations and assist in closing deals.
- Cultural Awareness: Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with Japanese suppliers, understanding cultural nuances in business communication.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
