Duties and Responsibilities of Senior Engineer (Tunnel Construction)
The Senior Tunnel Construction Engineer is responsible for, but not limited to the following:
1．Ensure preparation of method statements, safe work procedures, risk register, daily/weekly reports, tunnel progress reports and other tunnel related documentation
2．Provide engineering supervision to bored tunnelling operation, including final ring selection and selection of key.
3．Perform calculations of design drawings, specifications and reports that are generated.
4. Prepare and carry out presentation of tunnelling works prior to commencement of works
5．Conduct daily site inspection and supervision of bored tunnelling works
6．Supervision work on a TBM machine controlling the tunnel labour in excavation and ring build
7．Draft technical reports in the range of engineering areas, including feasibility studies, basis of design reports and technical analysis.
8. Provide technical guidance for cross passage and pump sump construction
9．Maintain site records of excavated volumes, grouting records and other construction work
10. Plan and monitor and track site progress, manpower mobilization and equipment deployment
11. Ensure job safety analysis and site safety compliance
12. Liaise with and support the team leaders, Design team and other stakeholders to successfully deliver the project
13. Ensure safe work procedures and environmental control measures are implemented at the work site
14. Liaise with authorities, consultants and subcontractors
REQUIREMENT :
1．Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
2．Senior Tunnel Engineer have at least 8 years of bored tunnelling experience.
3．Good computer skill to fulfil the job functions (Office365 and Auto-Cad, etc.).
4．Good knowledge of local authority requirements and engineering standards
5．Able to do shift work (12hours)
7．Good team player with the ability to lead & multi-tasking
8. Able to start work within 2 weeks after job offer will have an added advantage
GROSS SALARY :
SGD 7500- SGD13000 per month
