Working location:
Retail shop: 3 South Bouna Vista Road, Viva Vista Mall
We are looking for one additional team member to join our small flower shop. If you're interested in starting a career as a florist but don't have experience, that's okay—we're willing to train you from the ground up. We do ask for a commitment of at least 8 months, with the possibility of transitioning to a full-time position afterward.
**Responsibilities:**
- Assist customers in-store by advising them on floral options and taking orders.
- Prepare orders received through our online platforms (website, Grab, etc.).
- Care and conditioning flower stocks.
- Keep the store neat and ensure your workstation is clean throughout the day.
- Help with other tasks around the shop as needed.
**Requirements:**
- Must be a self-starter with a positive attitude and a strong willingness to learn.
- A love for flowers and the ability to handle them with care.
- Good communication skills, with basic customer service.
- Availability to work at least 4 days per week (Tue-Wed-Thu-Fri or Tue-Wed-Thu-Sun), from 11 am to 7 pm, with a 1-hour break.
- Willingness to work overtime during peak seasons such as Christmas, Valentine’s Day, and Mother’s Day.
**Salary and Benefits:**
- $5.5 per hour during the first month of training.
- $8 per hour starting from the second month.
