Get On Board for a Dynamic and Purposeful Career.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Executive, Finance (1-year contract) to join our dynamic team at PIL. The successful candidate will play a crucial role to support the Financial Assurance function and to facilitate monthly reporting process covering for Group Commercial Agency Management for all shipping and non-shipping agents.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in the review of agents’ monthly management reports for completeness, accuracy and quality of variance commentaries
  • Prepare and maintain Financial Assurance checklists and activity trackers for period close activities, balance sheet accounts reconciliation, dividends declaration/remittance and others
  • Develop/maintain various Power BI dashboards, includes data preparation
  • Assist with agency forecasting and budgeting exercise
  • Design, set up and maintain SharePoint folders for various Commercial & Agency Controlling functions and activities
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather any necessary information and ensure accurate reporting
  • Ad-hoc support to agency network management business unit


MUST HAVE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or relevant qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related field
  • Experience in ERP systems (e.g., Oracle) and data analytics software like Tableau and Power BI, MS Excel and functions such as Power Pivot (data modelling and DAX) and Power Query (data cleansing)
  • Demonstrate strong analytical skills with attention to details
  • Have good communication skills and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration
