Resident Engineer (Cloudera)

The Opportunity
We are looking for a Resident Engineer with Hadoop skillset as well as infrastructure support skills.
Job Responsibilities:
- Cluster configuration and deployment details to integrate with the data center
- Champion best practices for preparing and maintaining Apache Hadoop in production
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, tune, and solve Hadoop issues
- Security administration of Cloudera cluster with Data encryption Knowledge
Your Background
- Has at least 2 years of relevant experience
- Infrastructure admin experience with Redhat Linux and VMWare
- Hadoop admin experience, preferably Cloudera
- High level knowledge YARN, MapReduce, Spark, Hive Hbase, Phoenix, Kafka and HDFS
- Knowledgeable on Native Cloudera Backup and Recovery configuration principles
