Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and technically proficient Pre-Sales Engineer to work closely with our sales team, providing technical expertise and solutions-oriented support to potential clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CCTV and security systems, with the ability to translate customer needs into effective technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide technical guidance and solutions that meet their needs.
- Design and propose tailored CCTV and surveillance solutions, including system architecture, product selection, and integration with existing infrastructure.
- Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and technical workshops for potential clients, showcasing the capabilities and advantages of our solutions.
- Assist in the creation of detailed technical proposals, including system configurations, bill of materials (BOM), and cost estimates.
- Provide pre-sales technical support to clients, addressing inquiries and resolving technical issues during the sales process.
- Work closely with the sales, product development, and engineering teams to ensure that proposed solutions are feasible and aligned with customer expectations.
- Lead and manage PoC initiatives to demonstrate the effectiveness of proposed solutions in the customer’s environment.
- Gather and communicate customer feedback and market insights to the product development team to inform future product enhancements.
- Provide technical training and support to the sales team, helping them understand the technical aspects of our products and how to position them effectively.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical pre-sales, systems engineering, or similar role within the CCTV, security, or related technology industry.
- Strong knowledge of CCTV systems, IP cameras, video management software (VMS), networking, and related security technologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative solutions that meet customer needs.
- Demonstrated ability to understand customer needs and deliver solutions that exceed expectations.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, collaborating with sales, engineering, and product development teams.
