The Scope:
Lead the engineering team to be responsible for the engineering and maintenance of the hotel property with the safety of our guest and team members in mind.
Job Responsibilities:
- Direct daily engineering requirements of the property, including planning of preventive maintenance and carrying out any enhancement projects by coordinating with contractors
- Attend to technical support request from guests promptly
- Closely monitor the condition of the physical property and plant to ensure the effective operation of all mechanical and electrical systems
- Provide expert advice to management on all aspects of maintenance support and operational efficiency of the property
- Apply and/or maintain the necessary permits and licenses for the property and equipment, where necessary, and ensure strict regulatory compliance in all aspects, including fire and work safety standards
- Prepare and execute the annual budget of the engineering team
- Work with the management to propose and execute capex projects and ensure that funding is effectively allocated in accordance with the needs of the property

Qualifications:
- At least Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, Bachelor’s Degree in Building Services Engineering are an advantage.
- Candidates with less qualifications but at least 2 years of working experience as Assistant Chief Engineer can be considered for the position of Assistant Chief Engineer.
Experience:
- At least 3 years of working experience in any Building Services-related field.
- Current working knowledge of general maintenance and engineering work
Key Competencies:
- Strong work ethics
- Meticulous and service-oriented
- Strong people management
- Strong leadership skill and technical knowledge on the building and facilities managementment of the property’s environmental control and energy conservation systems.
Qualifications:
- At least Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, Bachelor’s Degree in Building Services Engineering are an advantage.
- Candidates with less qualifications but at least 3 years of working experience as Chief Engineer can be considered for the position of Chief Engineer.
Experience:
- At least 3 years of working experience in any Building Services-related field.
- Current working knowledge of general maintenance and engineering work
