Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated IT Executive to join our team as a service provider. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to clients, ensuring their IT systems and infrastructure are functioning optimally. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Technical Support:
· Provide remote and on-site technical support to clients.
· Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
· Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment and software.
· Respond to service requests and ensure timely resolution of issues.
2. System Maintenance:
· Perform regular system maintenance and updates.
· Monitor system performance and ensure the security of IT infrastructure.
· Backup and restore data as necessary.
· Manage and update antivirus and other security tools.
3. Client Communication:
· Communicate effectively with clients to understand their technical issues and needs.
· Provide clear instructions and guidance to clients on resolving technical issues.
· Maintain detailed records of client interactions and service requests.
4. Documentation and Reporting:
· Document technical issues, resolutions, and other important information.
· Create and maintain user manuals and guides.
· Generate regular reports on system performance and service activities.
5. Continuous Improvement:
· Stay updated with the latest IT trends, tools, and technologies.
· Recommend improvements to enhance the efficiency and reliability of client IT systems.
· Participate in training and development programs to enhance technical skills.
Qualifications:
· Associate or bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
· Proven experience as an IT Technician or in a similar role.
· Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking.
· Familiarity with various operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and office software (Microsoft Office, G Suite, Microsoft teams,).
· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Environment:
· The position may require travel to client sites.
· Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
· Physical ability to lift and move IT equipment.
