You will act as a liaison between principle investigators and all other stakeholders of the study. The role is to provide research assistance, in accordance to the applicable regulatory, Good Clinical Practice and protocol requirements, at all stages of a study which will include:
- Perform appropriate and extensive literature search on relevant topics.
- Read research protocols, carry out experiments and optimise conditions and experiments.
- Source for reagents and consumables and raise appropriate request for purchases.
- Ensure sufficient supplies necessary for the research projects
- Maintain good records of all experimental data, appropriate charts and tables.
- Involved in cancer immunology, focusing on human immune cell culture and genetic engineering for cancer therapeutics. Extensive research collaborations with research institutes (Eg: NCCS, Duke-NUS, A*STAR), public sector institutes (Eg: HSA, ACTRIS) and various industry partners. Project scopes span from basic research, translational clinical research as well as innovations for commercialisation.
- Key techniques: primary cell culture, multi-colour flow cytometry, in vitro cytotoxic assays including InCucyte analysis, multiplex Luminex analysis, viral transductions, mouse tissue sampling and analysis
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor Degree in any discipline, preferably Science/Social Science/Nursing with 1 to 2 years of working experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
• Ability to work well independently as well as in a team
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
