Job Purpose
SFDA team is looking to hire a VP for originating and executing transactions with focus on project & acquisition finance across Asia in the New Energies & Energy Transition team. The New Energies & Energy Transition team provides arranging and advisory solutions across various sectors including Hydrogen, E-Mobility value chain, Low-carbon solutions such as CCUS,SAF and other transactions that meet internal energy transition definition.
Key Roles/Responsibilities:
- Deal origination:Maintain close relationship with clients
- Prepare financial proposals including term sheets and/or presentations
- Identity and monitor market developments and opportunities
- Liaise with various internal, external stakeholders (banks, advisors, legal firms etc.) and clients as necessary
- Deal execution:Preparation of credit paper
- Assist in documentation with support from internal and external legal counsel
- Build, review & run sensitivities on financial model/cash flow
- Oversee completion of all aspects of loan administration and execution until drawdown
Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree;
- Good written and verbal communications skills
- At least 7-10 years of relevant work experience, preferably in project / structured finance
- Work experience should ideally be across energy sector and any deal experience/pitching experience in New Energy verticals stated above will be advantageous.
- Good understanding of loan documentation
- Good transaction structuring skills and understanding of credit process
- Financial modelling skills
- Ability to work independently on jobs assigned
