Applied and Computational ELectromagnetics (ACEL) group under the School of Electrical & Electronic Engineering is looking for a Research Engineer I (REI) who will work on developing radar signal processing algorithms and deep learning techniques for detecting and classifying the objects/targets behind the walls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Building up the testbed for the measurements
- Performing measurements with in-house radar and carrying out the simulation studies
- Developing signal processing and deep learning algorithms to detect/classify the objects/targets located behind the walls
- Validating the developed algorithms for various indoor environments
Job Requirements:
- BEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or related field
- Experience in the development of deep learning algorithms
- Experience in performing radar measurements and using measurement tools
