Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Vision and Execution:
- Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends, potential disruptions, and areas for growth.
- Develop and execute both short-term and long-term development plans that align with the company's overarching objectives and drive sustainable growth.
- Propose and implement data-driven enhancements to current business practices to optimize efficiency and maximize profitability.
Stakeholder and Industry Engagement:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Lead collaborative discussions to get valuable insights, generate comprehensive reports, and formulate follow-up plans.
- Collaborate with the management to set ambitious yet achievable sales goals, develop strategic plans, and forecast business performance.
- Attend industry conferences, events, and networking opportunities to connect with potential business partners and clients.
International Expansion and Operations:
- Manage the expansion plans by identifying and evaluating new market opportunities and developing tailored strategies for successful entry and sustainable growth.
- Oversee the operations of overseas branches, ensuring their alignment with the overall vision and providing strategic guidance to local teams.
- Navigate regulatory landscapes to secure necessary overseas licenses and guide the establishment of new international branches.
- Identify and propose new business opportunities in international markets, capitalizing on emerging trends and untapped potential to drive revenue growth.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead and inspire a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Mentor and develop team members, providing guidance and support to help them reach their full potential and contribute to the company's success.
- Identify and nurture talent within the team to create a pipeline of future leaders and support the company's long-term growth objectives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Management or a related field. A technical background (e.g., Information Technology) is a plus. MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
- At least 8 years of experience in strategy, business development, corporate development or similar roles, preferably in the financial services or payment sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct effective research and analysis to inform strategic decisions.
- Proven track record in developing and executing successful strategic development plans, with tangible results in revenue growth or market expansion.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence and build consensus.
- Strong collaborative spirit and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of shared ownership and accountability.
- Good understanding of the payment industry, with insights into international markets, regulatory landscapes, and emerging technologies.
