Job Description & Requirements
This is a full-time site based position. You will be part of a dynamic and experienced site team responsible for the proper execution of fire protection system installation, testing and commissioning works. Candidates are required to:
- Perform all daily inspection and test of the scope and character necessary to achieve the quality of construction required in the drawings and specifications for all works under the contract performed ON or OFF site.
- Carry out inspections and check all quality-related procedures in the site and ensure that activities at the site are as per approved method statements, and inspection test plan.
- Coordinate with the consultant’s representative and Site In-charge for inspection and meeting about quality problems including the closure of the Non-Compliance Report.
- Control, and monitor all activities related to the Quality Management System (QMS) and regularly report status to the Project Manager
- Maintain QMS-related documents of the entire project including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and site instruction/observations, permanent materials delivered, and other QA/QC documents. Close all non-conformances, Nonconformance Reports, NCRs, and Site Instructions, SIs.
- Take responsibility for the quality and workmanship of our work, and also be aware of the phases of engineering construction relating to Civil, Architectural, Structural and Process disciplines and how they interface with our systems.
- Develop ITP, PQP and checklist based on specification of the project
- Carry out Internal Audit at the site as scheduled in the Project Quality Plan, PQP.
- Liaise with client for materials submittal to the client and liaising for approval of same.
