Reporting to the Assistant Housekeeping Manager, the Housekeeping Room Attendant is responsible for assisting the Executive Housekeeper, Assistant Executive Housekeeping, Housekeeping Manager and all rooms Managers in the successful ownership and operational execution of the Housekeeping Department. Assist the Housekeeping Team Leader in providing genuine care and comfort to the ladies and gentlemen of the respective departments and maintaining a sense of urgency in handling all related matters.
Core Responsibilities:
- Clean all aspects of guest rooms by category of priority or as directed in line up in accordance with brand standards
- Follow cleaning procedures using correct cleaning chemicals for designated surfaces, according to Operational Excellence and Job Safety Analysis requirements
- Update status of rooms cleaned on assignment sheet and update accordingly
- Maintain complete working knowledge of V.I.P.’s, scheduled in-house group names, background, activities, locations, as well as special requests/arrangements as well as correct use and maintenance of equipment
