Key Responsibilities:
• Greet Customers:• Warmly welcome guests as they arrive, escort them to their tables, and present menus.
• Take Orders:• Accurately take food and drink orders, answer questions about the menu, and provide recommendations when requested.
• Serve Food and Beverages:• Deliver food and drinks to tables in a timely manner, ensuring that orders are accurate and meet customer expectations.
• Customer Service:• Respond to customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and courteous manner. Address any issues promptly to ensure a positive dining experience.
• Clean and Set Up:• Prepare tables for dining by setting up utensils, napkins, and condiments. Clean and reset tables after guests leave.
• Process Payments:• Handle billing and payments using the restaurant’s point-of-sale system, ensuring accuracy in transactions.
• Collaborate with Team:• Work closely with kitchen staff and other wait staff to ensure a smooth flow of service.
• Maintain a Clean Environment:• Ensure the dining area is clean and organized. Follow all health and safety regulations.
• Upsell Specials:• Promote daily specials or recommend additional items to enhance the dining experience.
Qualifications:
• Experience:• Previous experience as a waitress/waiter or in a customer service role is preferred but not required.
• Skills:• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, attention to detail.
• Physical Stamina:• Ability to stand for long periods, carry trays of food and drinks, and perform other physically demanding tasks.
• Team Player:• Ability to work well with others in a team-oriented environment.
Working Conditions:
