As a Procurement Manager, you will be required to perform the following:
- Assist end users in developing, coordinating, and gathering specifications for desired products or services.
- Review and enhance user specifications to meet desired procurement outcome.
- Manage the entire process of Request for quotation (RFQ), clarification, price comparison, recommendation, and negotiation.
- Ensure timeline on RFQ process is agreed with user and adhered to when RFQ is conducted.
- Select the most appropriate RFQ response and prepare the business case for sign off.
- Responsible to follow through with vendor contract using pre-cleared T&C and dealing with contract term deviations.
- Engage new vendors to understand market offerings and to identify potential new vendor for the Company.
- Adherence to Company Policies, Procedures and Practices on procurement.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience.
- Degree or Diploma holder.
- Good communication skills.
- Resourceful, meticulous, and able to work under tight deadline.
- Good with MS Word and Excel.
