As a Test Solutions Engineering – Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., you will develop, debug and maintain test programs that enable the testing of advanced NAND memory devices. Your focus would be on high speed test functional (wafer level/package level). You will be responsible for 1st silicon through High-Volume Manufacturing (HVM).
Responsibilities and Tasks
Define requirements for Test Plans including, but not limited to hardware requirements, defect coverage, process flow, and test times.
- Ensure all test programs, scripts, and any other software adhere to the release quality standards and process
- Support customer and internal audits.
- device yield, reliability and quality through test condition optimization, advanced redundancy analysis schemes, data analysis and test equipment hardware optimization
- Communicate effectively with both internal and external customers
Implement Solutions to Issues Related to Probe and Test processes in a Timely Manner
- Investigate and identify root cause of equipment and process parameter shifts
- Assist process and production teams by providing necessary engineering expertise to ensure smooth manufacturing operations
- Support process excursion activities including identification, containment, notification, and implementation of corrective actions
Drive Innovation to Meet Market Demand and Gain Competitive Advantage
- Drive new Design for Test (DFT) strategies
- Provide cost effective and innovative solutions for production test flow optimization with cutting-edge test time reduction methodologies.
- Identify patentable inventions, make timely disclosures of patentable inventions, and keep proper records of intellectual property.
- Participate with intra-departmental (and multi-site) teams in development of new processes and capabilities to support product roadmap.

Requirements:
- Bachelors/ Masters in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering and Computer Science.
- Good programming skills; Python/C++ knowledge
- Solid analytical problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good understanding of semiconductor device physics
