Role Description
This is a full-time role for an Operations Executive specializing in transportation. The Operations Executive will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations related to transportation on-site in Singapore.
1. Plan & manage to ensure all customer's trucking activities are fulfilled
2. Resolve any safety-related issue or recovery including but not limited to:
- a. Vehicle Parking issue
- b. Driver Safety Violation Issue
- c. Accident Recovery
3. Plan & manage the deployment of a team of Traffic Controller. Discuss improvement plans with superiors if necessary
4. Plan & manage duty rosters of Traffic Controllers weekly or in any appropriate time period
5. Arrange for duty take over when Traffic Controllers are on leave. To back up if necessary
6. Monitor the performance of a team of Traffic Controller and ensure jobs under their scope are dutifully completed (IOU/trip incentive/ TBM/etc)
- a. Ensure Traffic Controllers provide real-time update of job progress into the system
- b. Ensure Traffic Controllers carry out toolbox meeting
7. Responsible for various report submissions on time.
8. Plan, request and track progress of container reuse
9. Ensure staff work safely in a safe workplace
Qualifications
- Diploma qualifications in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Strong interpersonal Skills and Communication Skills
- Experience in Operations Management and Logistics
- Analytical Skills
- Experience in the container haulage industry
