Job Summary
The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the Finance Director with business accounting activities. This role will assist with administration and finance tasks and will be expected to help document and maintain the business’ finance procedures, updating and implementing them wherever necessary.
Job Responsibilities
- Financial Management: Oversee full set accounting, including Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss accounts, and manage group consolidation, monthly financial reporting, and cash flow forecasting.
- Compliance & Reporting: Ensure compliance with tax regulations and manage relationships with auditors, tax agents, and banks, especially in the context of a listed company.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning exercises, providing strategic insights to support the company’s financial goals.
- Internal Controls & Systems: Develop and implement internal controls and participate in financial system implementations to enhance efficiency and meet listed company standards.
- Audit & Year-End Closing: Manage audit processes and year-end closing activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Ad-Hoc Projects: Handle special projects and provide financial support for the company’s listing process and other strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting/ CA or any equivalent certification
- CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
- Possess at least 3 years of relevant accounting experience
- Good interpersonal and communications skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with global teams.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel
