YOUR ROLE:
We are on the lookout for a hands-on Finance Manager to take on the management of our existing finance team and to be responsible for the smooth running of our finance operations in Singapore.
The role is based in Singapore. You are reporting into our global CFO based in Paris and working closely with our APAC finance director.
You deliver financial insights where relevant and support the relevant business decision making process. You also implement new tools, financial processes and controls as the organization continues to evolve. You ensure that regions are performing and delivering according to PALO IT global rules and best practices.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Financial planning and analysis
- Drive and manage the budgeting and forecasting process for the business, working in close collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Deliver Cashflow forecast, Sales Pipeline KPIs, and Business reviews financial data, for monthly business reviews with Global CFO and Global COO.
- Cost control: Identify operating expenses optimization opportunities.
Audits
- Maintain audit readiness for financial audits, with 100% audit compliance.
- Complete all necessary audit and internal control operations
Risk management
- Implement risk management strategies to reduce financial risks
Compliance and governance
- Regulatory compliance: Maintain compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
- Tax compliance: Ensure compliance with tax filing and reporting requirements.
Month-end closing
- Month-end closing process to ensure an accurate and timely closure.
- Working with vendor on monthly payroll processing for Singapore office.
Financial Reporting
- Drive our regular and ad-hoc financial reporting (including the provision of analysis and insights) to support the business decision making process while continuously improve / design the reports
Finance subject matter expert to the business
- Be a pro-active business partner and act as a trusted subject matter expert to the business to resolve strategic and operational challenges
WHO YOU ARE:
- 6 years of hands-on experience, with a Bachelor in accountancy or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
- Past experience in Financial Auditing
- Strong analytical and data-driven mindset
- Detailed oriented, highly organized, and able to prioritize between different projects
- Independent, resourceful and adaptable team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Fluent in English and preferably French
We will be prioritizing applicants who have a current right to work in Singapore, and do not require sponsorship of a visa.
