We are partnering with a premier Montessori preschool in Chicago, committed to providing personalized education, flexible care options, and enriching extracurricular activities. Join a dedicated team of 18 staff members, including 5 Mandarin teachers, all working together to create a foundation for academic excellence and a love of learning.
About the Role:
- Position: Assistant Preschool Teacher
- Location: Chicago city or suburb
- Salary: USD $40,000 annually
- Availability: Immediate for city placements; December for suburban placements
- Visa Sponsorship: H1B1 visa, renewable
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Mandarin to children aged 18 months to 6 years.
- Lead daily 30-minute Circle Time sessions in Mandarin.
- Engage in the Cultural Immersion Programme, communicating in Mandarin with children throughout the day and in English with staff and management.

Work Hours:

- Fluency in both English and Mandarin Chinese.
- A relevant Degree.

- Passion for early childhood education and a love for working with children.
- Previous experience teaching children under 6 years old is preferred.
- Basic understanding or interest in Montessori education principles is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
