We are seeking a skilled Sustainability Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will focus on data analysis, carbon accounting, and process automation to support our sustainability initiatives. You will be responsible for analyzing sustainability-related metrics, tracking progress, and enhancing data collection processes through automation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Data Collection and Analysis:
o Gather and analyze sustainability data from various sources, including carbon emissions, energy consumption, and waste management.
o Conduct detailed analyses to identify trends and insights that inform sustainability strategies.
2. Carbon Accounting:
o Perform carbon accounting to measure and track the organization's carbon footprint.
o Ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant standards and frameworks (e.g., GRI, ISSB).
3. Process Automation:
o Develop and implement automation tools to streamline data collection and reporting processes.
o Utilize programming languages such as R and SQL for automation and data analysis.
4. Data Visualization:
o Create comprehensive dashboards and reports using data visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI.
o Present findings to stakeholders to support decision-making processes.
5. Collaboration and Communication:
o Work closely with the sustainability team and other departments to align data initiatives with organizational goals.
o Communicate sustainability achievements and initiatives effectively to internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
* 1-3 years of experience in sustainability data analysis or a related role.
* Proficiency in data analysis and automation tools such as Python, R, and SQL.
* Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Knowledge of carbon accounting methodologies and sustainability reporting frameworks.
* Experience with sustainability management platforms and data integration.
* Familiarity with environmental management systems and regulatory requirements.
Structure:
