As the Lead Frontend Developer, you will take ownership of the entire front-end architecture and guide the team in developing new features, improving existing ones, and ensuring top-tier user experiences across web and browser extension platforms.
Key responsibilities include:
- Frontend Architecture Design: Lead the design and development of complex, responsive frontend applications using Vue.js, Nuxt 3, and Tailwind CSS.
- Browser Extension Development: Create and maintain browser extensions (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Edge) to seamlessly integrate with our web applications and enhance user experience.
- Collaboration with Backend and UX Teams: Work closely with backend engineers and designers to ensure smooth integration of frontend interfaces with APIs and design systems.
- Component Libraries and Reusability: Develop reusable components, patterns, and ensure consistent implementation of Vue.js best practices across the application.
- Performance Optimization: Optimize front-end performance, ensuring fast load times and smooth interactions across different browsers and devices.
- Code Quality and Best Practices: Implement best practices, including automated testing (unit, integration, E2E), version control, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Team Leadership and Mentorship: Lead, mentor, and provide technical guidance to other frontend developers.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver projects on time.
- Documentation and Roadmapping: Maintain clear and concise technical documentation, and contribute to planning roadmaps for front-end improvements.
Requirements
Key Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in frontend development with a focus on Vue.js and modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Proficiency in Nuxt 3: Hands-on experience building applications using Nuxt 3 for server-side rendering, static site generation, and performance optimization.
- Tailwind CSS Expertise: Strong knowledge of Tailwind CSS for building responsive, custom designed components and layouts efficiently.
- Browser Extensions: Proven experience in developing browser extensions using modern JavaScript and interacting with browser APIs.
- Advanced HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Skills: Expertise in writing clean, scalable, and maintainable front-end code.
- Experience with RESTful APIs: Ability to work with APIs to create dynamic user interfaces and manage data.
- Understanding of UX/UI Principles: A keen eye for design and user experience, ensuring that applications are both functional and visually appealing.
- Agile Development: Experience working in agile environments, participating in sprints, and working with product managers and stakeholders.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with Nuxt Modules and plugins for enhancing functionality.
- Knowledge of Vue Composition API and state management using Pinia or Vuex.
- Familiarity with PWA development using Nuxt.
- Experience with WebAuthn or other advanced web authentication techniques.
- Exposure to backend technologies (e.g., FastAPI) for better collaboration with full-stack teams.
- Experience with wxt Framework
