Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate and maintain welding equipment
- Carry out welding / fabrication jobs by utilising various welding methods & processes and according to client requirements and drawings
- Review final welded parts and troubleshoot welding issues when necessary
- Ensure that welded material and consumables meet client specifications.
- Communicate and update progress of welding jobs to project lead / service manager / engineers in-charge.
- Ensure proper housekeeping of workspace, welding machinery and tools
Requirements:
- At least 10 years or more relevant experience in welding using various welding methods and processes
- Relevant knowledge in various welding methods & processes
- Able to read welding technical drawings
- Good time management & organizational skills
