Our client is a well established entity in manufacturing and distribution of parts and components for Printed Circuit Boards (PCB)
Responsibilities:
- In charge of all finance related matters for the Group as well as local entities.
- Monthly financial reporting to holding company.
- Implementation and compliance of Group accounting policies.
- Liaise with external auditors and tax agents on year end audit and tax matters.
- Preparation of forex hedging plan, liaise with bankers for entering hedging contracts and other treasury matters.
- Regulatory reporting such as GST, income tax filling, Mandatory Packaging Reporting and annual return (in XBRL format).
- Liaise with bankers for loan related matters.
- Review legal contracts.
- Work with senior team members to grow the businesses formulating strategies and plans.
- Work closely with CEO on business planning. Take ownership of the financial
presentations. - Effectively manage expenses, working capital and cash flow; ensure accurate numbers are
delivered to appropriate stakeholders in a timely manner - Oversee day to day finance operations: manage in-house accountant, assess current workflow within the organisation, and implement new policies and procedures to improve efficiencies and internal control when necessary. Liaise with outsourced accounting firm to ensure the company is in compliance with statutory requirements.
- Establish FP&A framework to drive performance management and planning activities. This
includes identifying Key Performance Indicators, finding out root causes of performance
variances, and recommending solutions (e.g. pricing, cost control and etc.) in order for the
business to achieve/ over-perform its target. - Work together with various departments to develop short-term and long range planning through periodically forecasting and annual budgeting. Perform financial projections on new business initiatives, analysing risk and opportunities and recommend feasible operating plan.
- Maintaining relations with external auditors and investigating their findings and recommendations
Requirements:
- At least a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting & Finance and CPA
- 10+ years of professional experience working in a similar capacity
- Audit experience and experience in manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
- Ability to collect, combine and analyse information under challenging conditions.
- Focused on continuous improvement and development of the Finance function.
- Knowledge on IFRS as well as China GAAP.
