The ACMV Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting the manager in ensuring the business unit runs smoothly, that includes taking care of administration of team members including onboarding, training, personnel development
Working closely with the team, the assistant manager role is to contributes to the profitability of the business units while maintaining high standard of delivery in services and products to projects under his or her care.
What you will be doing:
- Ensure performance management of engineers and technicians through coaching and supporting them
- Manage operational accounts for projects, including client management, team performance, financial reporting, and quality audit
- Implement Mobilization plans for new account, setup meetings, plan schedules, resource requisition and necessary training(s)
- Continuous improvements for work processes
- Ensure safety awareness for the team and implement programs to complement WSH policy
- Coordinate maintenance efforts with outside contractors, clients and team members.
- Constant communication with tenants, clients, property management, and vendors
- Assist in solicitation and acquisition of new management contracts
- Follow up on bidding process and file the necessary paperwork
- Implement and administer inventory control programs, purchase parts and supplies.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, requisitions, government agency, and company directives as relates to building operations.
- Support rehabilitation projects such as replacement of HVAC equipment :
- Prepare and present feasibility studies.
- Prepare budget estimates.
- Prepare schedule and manage its progress.
- Prepare and expedite approval of all internal control documents
- Coordinate all work with user and Internal Support Groups.
You are:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in air conditioning maintenance or a related field, including 3 years in supervisory role managing of accounts or team of technicians
- Diploma or Degree in HVAC systems, mechanical engineering, or a relevant discipline.
- Knowledge of various air conditioning systems, including split, ducted, and central systems
- Familiarity with troubleshooting tools and equipment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage customer without supervision
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to prepare quotations, tender and follow standard processes in place
- Commitment to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Team player with good communication skills to manage vendors, team and customers
