As a Storeman Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating the activities of the warehouse team to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our storage and distribution processes. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, supervising warehouse staff, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervision: Oversee the daily activities of the warehouse team, including storemen and packers, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular stock checks, and manage stock rotation to minimize discrepancies.
- Quality Control: Ensure all goods received and dispatched meet the required quality standards, and any discrepancies are reported and resolved promptly.
- Team Leadership: Train, mentor, and motivate warehouse staff to improve their performance and efficiency. Address any issues or conflicts that arise within the team.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Education: Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
